Call for National Co-financing of SAP Projects for LIFE 2025 Published

On May 26, 2025, a Public Call for the submission of requests for co-financing of Standard Action Projects from the LIFE Programme 2021 – 2027 for the LIFE 2025 call for proposals was opened.

 

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, in cooperation with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, has provided national co-financing for Standard Action Projects applying to the LIFE Programme call in 2025. We invite all potential applicants to submit requests for national co-financing:

This year, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund will co-finance Standard Action Projects selected for funding in the LIFE 2025 call in the amount of up to 50% of the remaining amount that the beneficiary must secure independently. The application deadline is:

  • September 2, 2025, for projects from the sub-programmes “Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation,” “Nature and Biodiversity,” and “Circular Economy and Quality of Life.

The following categories of LIFE Programme beneficiaries (with headquarters and planned implementation activities in the territory of Croatia) are eligible to use the Fund’s resources for direct co-financing:

  • commercial companies and other legal entities,
  • local and regional self-government units,
  • state administration bodies,
  • other budgetary and extra-budgetary users,
  • associations, natural persons performing registered economic activity as sole traders, craftsmen, or holders of OPG (family farms).

  • Complete project application exported from the Funding & Tenders portal,
  • other documentation upon request of the Ministry/Fund.

Important! Project applicants applying for Fund resources under this Public Call are required, when submitting the project application through the EU Funding & Tenders portal, to allow the National Contact Point insight into their project application by adding the National Contact Point as a contact person with read-only access. Upon receipt of the national co-financing application, applicants will be directly informed which email address to add as the contact person with read-only access.
