On May 16 and 17, 2023 we are holding LIFE info days dedicated to the LIFE 2023 Call for proposals.

The LIFE Programme is the leading financial instrument of the European Union dedicated to environmental protection, nature conservation and climate action. In the 2021 – 2027 financial period the programme co-finances activities through 4 sub-programmes. The 2023 LIFE Call for proposals offers EUR 611 million of available funding for green ideas.

What kind of projects can be financed through this EU Programme? LIFE (co)finances projects that develop and demonstrate innovative solutions for current environmental and climate challenges, as well as projects that will apply best practice methods for a particular area of ​​protection. The common denominator of all LIFE projects is that they support the implementation of EU legislation and policies in practice.

The two-day event will be held at Algebra University, Nikola Tesla Hall (Gradišćanska 24, Zagreb) and everyone is invited. All legal entities registered in the EU (public bodies, private companies and non-profit organizations) as well as natural persons registered for business can apply for co-financing from the LIFE Programme.

The first day of the event will be dedicated to the LIFE 2023 Call for proposals and general information regarding funding from LIFE. Also, participants will have the opportunity for speed-meeting sessions with LIFE advisors from the National Contact Point. On the second day three sub-programmes of LIFE will be presented in more detail: Circular Economy and Quality of Life, Mitigation of Climate Change and Adaptation to These Changes, and Nature and Biodiversity. A separate, specialized info day will be held for the Clean Energy Transition sub-programme at the beginning of June.
