Office for Cooperation with NGOs has published a Public call for submission of applications for co-financing of projects of civil society organizations contracted within the framework of the European Union programmes and foreign funds for the year 2023.

 

Co-financing will be eligible for a project whose coordinating beneficiary or project partner is a civil society organization with the legal status of an association, which is registered and operates in the Republic of Croatia, and whose project is fully or partially implemented in the Republic of Croatia, as well as a project whose project coordinating beneficiary and partners are other civil society organizations (foundations, unions, employers’ associations, private non-profit institutions, cooperatives registered in the Register of Non-Profit Organizations), which are registered and operate in the Republic of Croatia, and whose project is fully or partially implemented in the Republic of Croatia, but co-financing of these projects may depend on the availability of funds.

 

The project coordinating beneficiary or partner can request co-financing for a project for which the signing of a contract with the Contracting Authority is a prerequisite for the start of project activities and for a project for which the official announcement of the tender results (and not the signing of the contract) by the Contracting Authority is a prerequisite for the start of the implementation of activities. Projects whose contracts were signed or the official announcement of tender results were made during 2023 are acceptable, and all contracts or the announcement of tender results that were made earlier are also acceptable if the project activities are carried out for at least six months in 2023. The reported project must be in implementation at the time of submission of the application for co-financing.

 

The total planned value of the Public Call in 2023 is EUR 1,246,200.00, and the amount may be lower or higher, depending on the inflow of funds for this purpose into the State Budget, in accordance with the Act on the Execution of the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia for 2023.

 

For the LIFE Programme, the amount of co-financing is 50% of the total amount that the applicant (project coordinating beneficiary or partner) must cover for himself, and the deadline for submitting the application is October 31, 2023.
