National co-financing secured for Standard Action Projects in 2023 Call
On June 2nd, the MINGOR website published a Public call for submission of requests for co-financing of Standard action projects (SAPs) in the LIFE programme 2021 – 2027 for the LIFE Call for proposals 2023.
The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development (MINGOR), in cooperation with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund (FZOEU), has secured national co-financing for Standard Action Projects competing in LIFE 2023 Call:

The Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund will co-finance Standard Action Projects that are selected for financing from the LIFE programme Call for 2023 in the amount of up to 50% of the remaining amount that the user must provide independently.
The applications start with the announcement of the Public call on the MINGOR website and last until:
- August 21, 2023 until 12:00 for projects from the “Nature and Biodiversity” and “Circular Economy and Quality of Life” sub-programmes
- August 31, 2023 until 12:00 for projects from the sub-programme “Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation”
The right to use the funds of the Fund for direct co-financing can be exercised by the following categories of users of the LIFE programme (with headquarters and planned implementation activities placed in Croatia):
- trading companies and other legal entities,
- local and regional self-government units,
- state administration bodies,
- other budgetary and extra-budgetary users,
- associations,
- natural persons who perform registered economic activity as sole traders, craftsmen or OPG holders.
This year’s application procedure is simplified and the application documents are available here (in Croatian):
- Applicant’s request for project co-financing (Form 1),
- Amount of co-financing to be requested from the Fund (Form 2),
- Complete project application exported from the Funding & tenders portal,
- other documentation at the request of the Ministry/Fund.
All requests are submitted by email to the address life@mingor.hr.
Important note! Project applicants who apply for funds from the Fund must, when applying for a project through the Funding & tender opportunities portal, allow the National Contact Point to view their project application in such a way that in the part relating to the entry of participants (Participants) Nikolina Petković Gregorić is added as contact person (Contact Person), with the address nikolina.petkovicgregoric@mingor.hr and the role Team member – read only access assigned.
