The European Commission has opened a tender for the LIFE programme for 2021. The tender was opened on 13 July and the table below lists the application phases and application deadlines for individual sub-programs and types of projects.

In the new programming period 2021-2027. co-financed projects in the field of Circular Economy and Quality of Life and Nature and Biodiversity through the sub-programme Environment and Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation and the novelty of this programming period Transition to circular energy through the sub-program Action in the field of climate.

All legal entities registered in the European Union can apply for the LIFE programme, and as of this year, applications are made through the Funding & Tenders Portal. In the new programming period, the LIFE programme is included in the Funding & Tenders Portal as an integrated entry point for participants in financial programs and tenders managed by the European Commission and other EU bodies.
