The LIFE4GREENBROADBAND project achieved LIFE funding

Team A1 Croatia d.o.o. signed a contract with the European Commission to co-finance the installation of 120 solar power plants and the installation of 200 energy efficient cooling systems at base stations.
The LIFE4GREENBROADBAND project will contribute to a sustainable transition to a climate-neutral economy by 2050 and achieve the EU’s 2030 emissions reduction target by increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in electronic communications networks in Croatia to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. With the implementation of solar panels and free cooling systems, the project will annually reduce consumption by 1,721,560 kWh, which is also a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions of 404 tons.
The total value of the investment is 2,168,772 million EUR, of which 55% is co-financed from the LIFE program of the European Union.
