GREEN ASSIST is a new advisory initiative under InvestEU, funded through the LIFE programme. It provides on-demand and customized advisory services to project promoters who want to make green investments in environmental or non-environmental sectors. It offers a large pool of experienced experts from around Europe to help make your investments greener for free.

CINEA (the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency of the European Commission) organized two similar engagement sessions – one on the 2nd and another on 9th of March at 11am CET – to help you understand more about GREEN ASSIST, who can apply, how to apply and what’s in it for you.

 

Do you have an idea for a project that could help the environment? Perhaps you have a green solution to a problem but you are facing business challenges, or you need guidance to make your project investment-ready. GREEN ASSIST is here to support your ideas by providing free, on-demand and customised advisory services.

Managed by the European Climate Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), coordinated by DG ENVIRONMENT, and delivered under InvestEU with funding from the LIFE programme, the initiative aims to strengthen the European Green Deal and make ideas a reality.

You can apply if you:

• want to help the environment, but you are facing technical challenges
• want to help the environment, but you are facing business challenges
• have a business case, but you are aiming to improve its environmental impact.

GREEN ASSIST is looking for projects in natural capital and biodiversity, climate change adaptation and natural hazards, climate mitigation, sustainable design, environmental repair (of air, water and soil), greening non-environmental sectors and circular economy. For example, GREEN ASSIST could help a project aiming to recycle new clothes, providing tailored business advice and expertise.
