LIFE 2018 Conference in Zagreb
The LIFE 2018 Conference was organised in Zagreb by the Ministry of Environment and Energy on 2nd of February 2018.
The intention of the conference was to promote the benefits of the LIFE programme, present good examples of policy uptake and close-to-market projects, as well as to demonstrate synergies between the LIFE programme and other EU funds and funding programmes. The main goal of the conference was to present the positive impact of LIFE projects on the environment and economy to potential applicants in Croatia
The conference was attended by 162 participants from 13 countries. The participants were from the national and regional public institutions, private companies and NGO’s.
Speakers of the Conference shared their experiences of policy uptake from LIFE projects, innovative solution with environmental/climate & economic benefits, project actions for transferability and replicability, socioeconomic impact of the project, synergies between the LIFE programme and other funds.
The languages used at the conference were Croatian and English. Simultaneous interpretation was provided for all participants.
